Looking for work, under the best circumstances, is a miserable activity, and being out of work is worse. It's hard to even get up in the morning. We've been there and we want to help.
Here are some resources for finding work. If you know of any additional tools, please email them to

Online Job Boards
Monster - widely regarded as the top job board on the Internet.
Get Paralegal Jobs - a relatively new board that only lists paralegal jobs. An excellent resource.
Work In Texas - the job board of the Texas Workforce Commission.
USAJobs - the Federal Government's official one-stop source for Federal jobs and employment information. We have been advised that jobs get posted frequently, look look often.
Career Builder - proclaims itself the largest job-search website, but we have found it rather lacking in quality paralegal listings.
Indeed - searches job sites, newspapers, associations, and company career pages.
Professional Associations
It's not a bad idea to join your local professional association. Many have job listings and job fairs, or at the very least contacts that can lead to employment. Take a look at our
association directory for any groups in your area.
Search Possible Employers Directly
A growing number of companies list their job openings online, and most do not require registration to view the openings. You will need to register to apply for a job.
Don't restrict your search to law firms or insurance companies. Most large companies and many mid-sized companies have legal departments, so look for companies in your area and go to their website to browse their job openings.
